Nothing is quite as soothing as a hot cup of peppermint tea on a cold day. But mint can do much more than ease a headache or tummyache. As a natural refrigerant, mint cools your body down when you’re hot, making the perfect drink for a summertime day! Mint goes well in beverages, candies, and especially with chocolate, but it can also be a delicious part of meats and salads as well. Spearmint, peppermint, “candy mint”, lemon balm, catnip and more are all varieties of mint that can do so much. An hour is hardly enough time to cover this wide-reaching and oh-so-useful herb, but we’ll do our best!
