Our building has sold, and all Atlanta classes will be held at our Tri-Cities location in Hapeville, near the airport – 755 Virginia Ave, Hapeville, GA 30354 (CLICK HERE for a map and directions). Please stay tuned for information about our new intown location, as we work on the buildout and permitting. In the meantime, all gift certificates and credits will be honored, and extended for as long as you need.
And as always if you have additional questions or comments, please don’t hesitate to contact bookings@thecookingschools.com
YES, our classes are BYOB as long as you are of legal drinking age. So, feel free to bring a bottle of wine to enjoy in class. We’ll have the glasses and the corkscrew!
Parties of Five People or More – please contact us at IrwinStreetCooks@gmail.com, and we can arrange a class just for you. These are Public Classes, and we’ve found that large groups affect the class dynamic. We would prefer to arrange a class just for you.
PLEASE NOTE: Our Classes are designed for and attended by adults. Any of our under-18 year old guests must be accompanied and supervised by an adult. If you plan to attend with your Young Chef, please let us know in advance, before booking, so we can advise your chef instructor.
VERY IMPORTANT:
Please advise of any allergies or aversions *before* you register (email to bookings@thecookingschools.com). We need to prepare accordingly, for special dietary needs. And, in certain cases, your class might not be appropriate for your specific needs. Without advance notice, you may be asked to leave class and reschedule for a later date.
WE HAVE MOVED:
Our location in Old Fourth Ward has recently sold, and we are in the process of moving. While we build out our new intown location, we will be holding our classes at our Tri-Cities location in Hapeville near the Atlanta Airport (755 Virginia Ave, Hapeville GA 30354 CLICK HERE for a map)
Please be on time. We try to start our classes when we promise. You will miss vital information if you are even ten minutes late.
Safety is important to us, and we want to make sure you are safe when you attend classes at The Cooking Schools. Please wear close-toed shoes to protect your feet. If your hair is long, please bring along a method to secure it. Leave your faceted rings at home or be prepared to take them off and stow them safely while you are in class. Many classes are BYOB, although classes such as Knife Skills will reserve opening those bottles until the end of class. Thank you for taking the time to help us keep our kitchen, staff and students safe!
